What’s the Opportunity?

We are seeking to recruit a suitably
qualified and experienced individual to fill the position of Relationship
Manager. The Relationship Manager is responsible with building strong customer
relationships by anticipating and providing the right mix of financial and
non-financial products and services and access to financial and investment
advice from the external business partners, to satisfy each customer’s unique
needs. The Relationship Manager also has a duty to render the financial
services honestly and fairly, and with due skill, care and diligence, in the
interests of clients and the integrity of the banking and financial services
industry.

Key Responsibilities:

 

Sales & Relationship Building

 

  • Get to know
    existing members and profile them as prospects for additional product and
    services.
      Discuss their needs and sell           products and services that meet those needs.

  • Confirm
    receipt of referrals for product and service sales and make contact with the
    prospect.

  • Promote the
    use of other service channels, including internet banking, ATMs and the Member
    Care Centre.

  • Track
    potential member losses and revenue losses, alert management and assist in
    halting such actions where possible.

  • Promote good
    member and customer relations by:

o   developing rapport

o   inquiring and discussing the member/customer
needs and priorities

o   providing information on our products and
services that meet those needs

o   providing information on the products and
services of our subsidiaries

  • Referring members/customers to Service Representatives or other staff
    of the subsidiaries that can provide details on give the member/customer full
    access to the products and services of the subsidiaries.

 

Customer/Client Service

  • Provide high quality routine
    financial transaction services with a personal touch.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the
    client by conducting regular financial reviews utilizing appropriate Management
    tools & JN HNW Reviews to identify customer needs and deliver comprehensive
    and customized solutions tailored to the client’s risk profile and financial
    needs, subject to the limitations imposed under the Building Society Act or any
    contractual arrangement.

  • Build collaborative internal and
    external relationships to provide the best in client advice and service and to
    ensure a seamless experience for the client who has multiple products and
    services.

  • Fulfill ‘Know Your Customer’
    requirements of existing clients as per regulatory norms at defined time
    intervals.

  • Work in partnership with Certified
    Financial & Investment Advisors to meet customer needs
      where appropriate.

  • Take reasonable steps to seek from
    the client appropriate and available information regarding the client’s
    financial situation, financial product experience and objectives to enable the
    provider to provide the client with appropriate advice.

  • Conduct an analysis, for purposes of
    the advice, based on the information obtained.

Requirements

  • University graduate in Finance, Management or a related discipline.
  • Professional financial qualification preferred or in pursuance of such qualification (i.e. Chartered Banker or Certified Financial Analyst) is a distinct
    advantage.
