Job Description

Requirements:

• A minimum of an Associate Degree in Business Studies or equivalent.
• Good understanding of warehouse or inventory procedures
• Forklift operation certification, plus 5 years’ operating experience.
• Basic understanding of HACCP, GMP and environmental standards
• A high level of initiative, integrity and motivation
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Intermediate computing skills with exposure to Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook.
• Basic mechanical and diagnostic skills.
• Customer service focused with the ability to employ a flexible, positive attitude.
• Ability to work productively and effectively in a team setting
• A high level of safety awareness

Responsibilities

• Verifying contents for incoming and outgoing shipments and ensuring accurate documentation and record-keeping.
• Complete inspection on all Inbound & Outbound trucks/containers prior to loading or offloading.
• Inventory Management: Organizing and managing inventory, including regular stock counts, tracking product movements, and updating inventory records
• Ensure dispatch is done in accordance with FIFO and that all products loaded are of the required delivery standard.
• Maintains record of returned and damaged goods.
• Order Fulfillment: Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely shipment and delivery of goods.
• Equipment Operation: Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc. to move goods within the warehouse.
• Perform the daily checks and basic maintenance on equipment forklifts, pallet jacks document and report findings.
• Adhering to safety protocols and ensuring the warehouse and its environs are clean, organized, and secure.
• Disposing of all trash generated from the operations at the specified dumping site.
• Collaborating with other warehouse staff, such as supervisors, associates, cashier, customer service representative and logistics personnel, to ensure smooth workflow and efficient operations.
