Bank Limited is seeking to recruit a dynamic, suitably qualified, and
experienced individual to fill the position of Youth Banking Officer-Operations
and Onboarding. The Youth Banking Officer-Operations and Onboarding will assume
full responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the Unit and will
supervise the Youth Banking Representatives in order to ensure that they
provide quality frontline service to members. He/she will oversee all daily
activities, with direct responsibility for regulatory compliance, customer
service delivery, engagement activities, onboarding and control,
administration, monitoring of the budget and preparation of reports for
pertaining to Unit activities. He/she will assist the Assistant Manager-
Operations and Onboarding with the formulation of strategies for the
onboarding, the setting of objectives for the Unit staff, the effective
planning and execution of work processes, tracking of the performance of the
Unit and reporting on all aspects of the operation of the Unit.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Operations & Regulatory Compliance

–       Conduct
Operational Audits within the Unit in order to ensure compliance with the
policies and procedures of the Bank.

–       Assess and
approve share loan applications.

–       Monitor
and keep staff apprised of Unit performance

–       Communicate
new policies and processes to staff

–       Prepare
reports of the Unit’s operations for submission to Executive, Manager or Head
of

–       Departments/
Marketing & Distribution Executive as required.

–       Prepare
monthly reports and submit to Assistant Managers/Unit Head

–       Monitor
Unit activities utilizing Operational Audit processes to ensure compliance with
the policies and procedures of the Society.

–       Ensure
that all Work in Progress (WIP) accounts are appropriately cleared and take
appropriate corrective action as is necessary.

 

Customer
Service Delivery & Monitoring

Support
our culture of “We will help you find a way” by assuming overall responsibility
for customer service strategies.

– Ensure that all Unit staff carry out the behaviors identified in our
member charter and the various member services guidelines, procedures and
training.

– Monitor customer service in the Unit and on organized events to ensure
core areas as outlines in the customer service audits (Mystery Shopper Reports,
Internal Customer Service Survey Reports, JN Branch Card etc.) are consistently
maintained and strengthened in line with delivery standards and expectations.

 

Sales
Promotions & Relationship Building

–       Assist with sales promotion activities:
with ensuring YBRs are assigned to each event organized by the Unit and are
brief  to ensure that all  staff carry out the
event as planned.

–       Assist
in the Unit with feedback on executed sales plan aimed at driving sales,
ensuring that targets are set for each YBR to measure performance; number of
accounts to be opened each day and managing CRM (Salesforce).

–       Provide
support for local Branch promotions and assist with formulating operating sales
strategies and action plan for all regions.

–       Quality acquisition of leads for
JN Bank’s Products & Services

–       Ensure quality sourcing of new
customer for JN deposit products

 

REQUIRED
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

–     Bachelor’s Degree in Banking & Finance, Business Administration or
Marketing from a recognized Institution.

–     1-2 years of administrative support experience in a fast-paced
environment.

–     1-2 years of branch operations & sales experience

–     Certification in either Project Management, Public Speaking,
Sales, Sales Management or Communications is an asset
