JOB SUMMARY

 

The Merchandiser will be responsible for merchandising and maintaining all the products distributed by Seprod Limited in various retail environments. This role aims to enhance customer experience, increase sales, and maximize inventory turns by ensuring effective product presentation and stock management.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain attractive presentation of the company's products in compliance with Planogram.
  • Ensure adequate product availability to consumers.
  • Adhere to compliance with merchandising guidelines.
  • Obtain additional shelf facings wherever possible to increase visibility.
  • Identify suitable positions for displays and obtain retailers' permission to set them up.
  • Build displays and ensure maintenance of display materials.
  • Install Point-Of-Sale (POS) materials to achieve strong visual impact.
  • Regularly check for and remove damaged and expired goods from shelves.
  • Report stock-outs to the Merchandising Supervisor, Regional Sales Manager, and Sales Representative.
  • Provide updates on competitors’ promotions and pricing.
  • Maintain accurate pricing for regular and promotional items, focusing on in-store promotions.
  • Foster good relationships with retailers and consistently uphold high standards.
  • Work independently to drive sales in assigned outlets.
  • Dress in the provided company uniform and report to work punctually, including weekends.
  • Continuously learn to achieve the goals of the Merchandising Division.

 

PERFORMANCE CRITERIA

Your performance will be assessed based on your ability to meet the outlined objectives, including:

  1. Timeliness in preparing and distributing reports.
  2. Achievement of specified sales targets.
  3. Execution of special projects and initiatives as directed.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3 CSEC subjects
  • Minimum of 1 year working experience in sales or marketing
  • Strong Customer Service Skills
  • Experience in the merchandising or retail field is a distinct advantage.
