Line Assistant – International Biscuits Limited

As a Line Assistant at Seprod Limited, you will play a critical role in the production process to ensure that finished products are packed to the company’s high standards. You will work closely with the production team to maintain an efficient workflow while adhering to safety and quality protocols.

• Change the date code on case sealers and ensure correct settings are applied.
• Ensure all completed pallets are shrink-wrapped, removed from the production floor, and stored in the finished goods holding area.
• Assist the team leader in accurately recording and accounting for all finished goods.
• Provide clean and appropriate pallets for packaging and transport excess pallets to the holding area.
• Assist in the receiving and storage of packaging materials.
• Organize packaging materials in the production area to ensure they are easily accessible for team efficiency.
• Help weigh, record, and store rework and rejects.
• Maintain good housekeeping practices and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) in your work area.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) policies while performing daily tasks.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

● Secondary level education is required.

● Strong communication skills to effectively interact with supervisors and follow instructions.

● Ability to work well within a team environment and with minimal supervision.

● Capable of detecting deviations from standard procedures, demonstrating flexibility, alertness, and coordination.
