Position Summary
We are hiring a Billing and Customer Service Representative to manage customer inquiries, concerns, and billing-related processes. This role is responsible for providing timely and professional customer support, processing orders, and assisting with billing adjustments and modifications while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries through various communication channels.
- Acknowledge, investigate, and resolve customer complaints efficiently.
- Process customer orders, forms, applications, and service requests accurately.
- Manage and maintain billing records, including adjustments and modifications.
- Develop a strong understanding of company products and services to effectively address customer questions.
- Document customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints in internal systems.
- Communicate and coordinate with internal teams as needed to resolve issues.
- Provide feedback on customer service processes to improve efficiency and service quality.
- Ensure overall customer satisfaction by delivering professional and consistent support.
Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Administration, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in customer service or a related role.
- Experience handling billing processes is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Knowledge of JD Edwards is preferred.
- Strong problem‑solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional when customers are stressed or upset.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
- Availability to work onsite in Kingston for the duration of the 6‑month contract.
