Food Safety Intern

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Food Safety Intern to support our Food Safety and Quality Assurance (QA) teams in preparation for upcoming audits. This role provides hands-on experience in food safety systems, documentation, and audit readiness within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and review of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Support audit readiness activities, including document organization and verification
• Ensure proper labeling of equipment and tools in accordance with food safety standards
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
• Provide general administrative support to the Food Safety and QA teams
• Assist with other audit-related tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
