Job Purpose

We are seeking a proactive and quality-focused Packaging Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining packaging machinery to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient line performance. You will play a key role in meeting daily production targets by upholding quality standards, minimizing product and material losses, and ensuring strict compliance with safety and sanitation protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Works in accordance with the defined and implemented HEINEKEN Safety Standards, Food Safety and Sustainability Standards, applicable ISO Standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Adheres to 5S principles, maintains high housekeeping standards, and complies with HACCP guidelines related to the workplace.
• Performs all required quality checks on simple packaging machines in line with established standards and procedures.
• Executes the tagging process and CILT, and applies problem-solving tools; actively participates in and begins to lead improvement teams.
• Carries out all packaging operations on simple machines in alignment with current operational standards, including documentation and reporting responsibilities for the assigned area.
• Operates simple packaging machinery effectively and efficiently to meet production demands.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Knowledge & Experience:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or brewery packaging environment is preferred.

• Familiarity with basic quality checks, safety practices, and packaging line processes.

• Basic understanding of 5S, and continuous improvement principles is an asset.
