JN Money Services Limited seeks to recruit an Accountant . The Accountant is responsible for ensuring that the general ledger accurately reflects all financial transactions and that timely, accurate financial reports are produced. The incumbent will support financial management, reconciliation processes, and reporting requirements across assigned entities, including JN Money Services (UK) Limited, while maintaining compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Prepare monthly financial statements, Group Performance Reports (GPR), and Management Reports within established timelines
· Prepare and review reconciliations for bank accounts, inter company balances, payroll, and other Balance Sheet and Income Statement accounts
· Ensure reconciling items are identified and cleared within thirty (30) days
· Review and process journal entries, including salaries, remittances, accruals, and prepayments
· Monitor and manage aged receivables, ensuring timely collections and daily dispatch of reports
· Review and approve branch lodgments and ensure daily deposits are accurately recorded
· Maintain fixed asset registers and prepare depreciation, additions, and disposal entries
· Reconcile sub-ledgers (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Accounts) to the general ledger
· Prepare regulatory reports and support financial compliance requirements
· Assist with internal and external audits and prepare responses to audit findings
· Supervise and provide guidance to accounting staff
· Ensure timely settlement of inter company balances
· Perform other related duties to support the efficient administration of the accounting function
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & ATTRIBUTES
· Pursuing ACCA Level 2 or a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field
· Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in accounting at a supervisory level
· Strong knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations, and general ledger management
· Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Office applications
