We are seeking a
Credit Risk Officer
to analyse portfolio trends,
monitor credit exposures, prepare risk reports for key stakeholders, and
support the development of effective risk management practices across
The JN
Group
.
What you'll
do
-
Prepare and deliver monthly reports on asset quality,
credit risk, and concentration risk for the Board, ALCO, and other key
stakeholders within established timelines.

Conduct detailed analysis of loan portfolios and
market data to identify emerging trends, concentrations, and potential
risks, providing recommendations to strengthen risk mitigation strategies.

Perform counterparty risk assessments and make
recommendations on existing and prospective counterparties across the
Group.

Monitor loan portfolios, counterparties, and
exception reports across multiple systems to ensure compliance with
service level agreements and internal risk standards.

Support the oversight of the Group's credit portfolio
by identifying, escalating, and tracking material credit risks and
arrears.

Assist with special investigations, ad hoc research,
and analytical projects to support strategic and operational
decision-making.

Contribute to the development, review, and
enhancement of credit risk policies, procedures, and monitoring
frameworks.

Ensure all activities align with applicable
regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry best practices.
What success
looks like

Deliver accurate monthly risk reports within agreed
timelines.

Identify emerging portfolio risks and provide
meaningful recommendations.

Complete portfolio monitoring and system reviews in
accordance with established service standards.

Support the continuous enhancement of credit risk
policies and oversight processes.
What you'll
bring
-
Bachelor's degree in Economics, Mathematics,
Statistics, Finance, or a related discipline with at least three (3)
years' relevant experience, or a Master's degree in a related field with
at least two (2) years' relevant experience.

Minimum five (5) years' experience in mortgage or
credit within a financial institution.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical
thinking skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and
PowerPoint.

Experience with econometric or financial modelling
would be an asset.
