Objectives and Purpose of the Job:
The Innovation Officer plays a key supporting role in bringing new product ideas to life by coordinating research, timelines, and cross-functional activities. A central part of the role is to maintain clear, real-time visibility of all innovation projects by managing the innovation dashboard and stage-gate tracking tools. This ensures disciplined execution, cross-functional alignment, and timely progress through each stage of the innovation process.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update innovation dashboards and stage-gate trackers to ensure visibility, accountability, and momentum across the innovation pipeline.
- Assist with ideation, concept validation, and prototype testing.
- Coordinate timelines and documentation for innovation projects.
- Conduct research on consumer trends, ingredients, packaging, and claims.
- Liaise with internal teams and external agencies during product development.
- Any other related duties as assigned from time to time.
Requirements
Academic/Technical/Management: Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Food Science or related field
- 1–3 years’ experience in innovation, R&D, or brand support
- Project coordination or research background is a plus
