This position is responsible for conducting Compliance, Financial Statements and Appropriations Accounts Audits in assigned Ministries, Department, Agencies, Public & Statutory Bodies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
Technical/Professional
- Conducts Compliance, Financial Statements & Appropriations Accounts Audits in accordance with the AuGD’s established policies and procedures.
- Consults with Senior Auditors to determine audit objectives, data extraction point, required information and report formats for data analysis requests.
- Liaises with auditees to obtain an understanding of business rules, systems, processes and procedures.
- Participates in planning, Entrance and Exit meetings and takes appropriate Minutes.
- Performs audits in keeping with international best practices and AuGD’s established standards.
- Drafts audit queries, Working Papers and communication for submission to Team Lead
Other Responsibilities
- Performs any other related duties that may be assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or Management Studies ; OR
- ACCA – Fundamentals or equivalent with no experience; OR
- Qualification for entry-level audit position plus at least two (2) years experience in auditing or accounting
- Experience in conducting audits would be as asset
