and high-end Property Management services.
We are searching for a Chief Operating Officer (COO) who has strong leadership skills
and the ability to approach business with a creative point of view. The COO will lead our
team of high-performing professionals to be efficient, productive, and effective. The
ideal candidate has extensive experience within real estate development, preferably
having worked their way up to an executive role. We believe this trajectory helps a
person develop a unique mix of business and management expertise, plus proficiency
with the practices, policies, and procedures of our industry.
Objectives:
● Collaborate with CEO in setting and driving organizational vision, operations
strategy, and hiring goals.
● Promote the growth and development of staff by providing strong leadership to
motivate both individual and team excellence and maintain staff retention.
Monitor ergonomic conditions.
● Mentor and inspire employees to key into management vision.
● Spearhead strategies to steer the company’s future in a positive direction.
● Collaborate with management and other stakeholders to raise capital and carry
out other business-expanding strategies.
● Control company expenditure and introduce tactical initiatives to address
company losses.
● Translate strategy into actionable steps for growth; implementing organization-
wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operations planning.
● Ensure compliance with national and local business regulations to take
appropriate action when necessary.
Responsibilities
● Analyze internal operations and identify areas for process enhancement.
● Manage capital investments and expenses aggressively to ensure the company
achieves investor targets for growth and profitability.
● Monitor performance with tracking software; take corrective measures when
necessary, and prepare detailed updates and forecasts.
● Build and maintain trusting relationships with key customers, clients, partners,
and stakeholders.
● Prepare timely and accurate financial performance reports.
● Ensure effective recruiting, onboarding, professional development, performance
management, and retention.
● Conduct periodic reviews of existing risk and compliance policies and procedures
and assist in development of compliance policies.
● Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures that are consistent
and compliant with International Financial Reporting Standards.
Qualifications
● Master’s in Business Operations or Business Management or Finance/Operation
Management.
● Ten (10) or more years of professional experience.
● Strong knowledge of Finance/ Accounting would be an asset.
● Good leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity.
● Understanding of advanced business planning and regulatory issues.
● Solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics.
● Ability to diagnose problems quickly and foresee potential issues.
