Reporting to the Facilities Manager the Handyman is responsible for providing general janitorial services by cleaning dusting and maintaining the grounds, landscape and offices.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensures that the compound is maintained by conducting proper sweeping & cleaning of the grounds/parking areas;
- Washes the corridors and walkways;
- Washes and disinfect garbage bins;
- Cobwebs & clean interior and wall ceilings;
- Removal or debris from drains;
- Washes exterior & shutters;
- Cleans and rearranges storerooms;
- Performs routine landscaping on grounds;
- Cuts hedges and dispose of debris;
- Paints and fills gaps or crevices (on walls, sidewalk etc.);
- Removes bushes/trees from the grounds (and/or use of herbicides to eradicate weeds), to include sidewalk and entrance of complex;
- Identifies and report all repairs and undertake minor ones;
- Responsible for operating within OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) standards and company safety policies at all times.

- Knowledge of the operations of Government/Knowledge of the Ministry’s policies and procedures

- Excellent time management skills
Minimum Required Qualification and Experience
- Completed Secondary School Education
- Two years working experience
