To build and maintain an inventory of all furniture and equipment purchased and owned by the Agency and ensure that items ordered from stores are accurately recorded and accounted for in keeping with Agency s policies and procedures

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Takes inventory of all items of furniture and equipment in the Agency Assigns numbers (with location to furniture, equipment), prints labels and affixes labels on respective furniture and equipment
- Prepares inventory location record for all the Agency’s offices
- Prepares master inventory record for the Agency
- Ensures that unsalvageable furniture and equipment are removed from inventory and properly disposed of
- Ensures that items delivered from stores have requisite authorization and request forms
- Maintains accurate records of items delivered
- Assists with taking inventory in stores
- Prepares periodic statistics
KEY COMPETENCIES
The post holder needs to demonstrate the following competencies:
- Knowledge of inventory management
- Knowledge of relevant computer applications and systems
- Working knowledge of the Agency’s policies and procedures
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and writing
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
- Four (4) CXC ordinary pass including Mathematics and English
- Two (2) years related experience
