Reporting to the Chief Medical Imaging Practitioner, the incumbent will be responsible for performing activities associated with delivery of diagnostic radiography services within a specified radiology facility.
Requirements:
- First degree in Diagnostic Imaging or equivalent.
- One (1) year experience in a similar position.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing general x-ray and other imaging procedures according to international standards as directed by protocol and as per medical requisition.
- Performing bedside and operative radiography, in consultation with the Senior Radiographer, using prescribed protocols.
- Managing imaging examinations in accordance with approved patient care procedures.
- Manipulating imaging equipment using electrical factors in accordance with radiation safety regulations.
- Performing emergency x-rays outside of normal working hours.
