Duties
The incumbent will be required to perform the following tasks:
Assist the Branch Manager with the daily operations of the organization
Business development
Preparation of bids:
- Definition of technical solutions
- Drafting of technical reports
- Preparation of illustrating drawings (2D)
- Pricing of works:
Obtain quotes from suppliers and sub-contractors
Quantify works to be implemented (time and quantities)
Communicate/Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for project preparation
Implementation of feasibility studies and other technical studies
Technical and contractual support to teams working on projects
Any other job-related function
Qualification:
Should possess at least a BSc. degree or equivalent diploma in Construction Engineering or Project Management from a reputable institution
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Auto Cad, etc
Minimum of six years experience within the construction industry
General knowledge of infrastructure and construction aspects
General knowledge of Contractual and commercial matters
General knowledge of public and private procurement processes
Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work
Strong communication and organizational skills
Autonomy and ability to seek information where necessary
Problem-solving skills, Analytical skills
Ability to work cooperatively with persons from other departments
Basic knowledge in French (optional)
