Under supervision of the Senior Project Manager, the Project Coordinator (Project Manager), manages the implementation of projects in order to contribute to the improvement, expansion and diversification of the tourism product in the assigned region.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Advises clients and provides representation on behalf of the clients in accordance with services provided by the Company.
  • Manages the implementation of projects.
  • Conducts preliminary studies and data collection for development of assigned projects.
  • Evaluates and makes recommendation in respect of projects submitted for assistance.
  • Arranges and facilitates site evaluation visits for investors in keeping with Health and Safety Protocols.
  • Refers investors to relevant funding agencies.
  • Conceptualizes and implements specialized business development schemes in keeping with primary technical competence.
  • Prepares monthly, quarterly and annual reports with respect to product development.
  • Provides documentation and terms of references for the determination of infrastructural requirements.
  • Prepares periodic briefs and reports as requested
  • Prepares budget to include cash flow, implementation schedule, operational plan, corporate plan and action plan
  • Any other related duties which may be assigned from time to time.

 

KEY COMPETENCIES

  • Excellent in the use of computers and applications for data analysis
  • Good ability to communicate effectively in oral and written format
  • Excellent reasoning power/ judgement
  • Good knowledge of public sector regulations/ procedures for procurement and investment.
  • Good knowledge of legislative framework for investment and tourism development.

DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or related studies.
  • Five (5) years’ experience in project management and development, implementation and reporting.
  • Three (3) years supervisory experience

OR

  • Any equivalent Combination of Qualifications and Experience
