The Sales Executive (HORECA) is responsible for generating sales within the Hotels, Restaurants, Cafe's, Corporate Offices and Schools.

Sales Executives play a pivotal role in the organization's success by identifying and targeting potential clients, nurturing existing customer relationships, and presenting tailored solutions to meet their needs. They are responsible for understanding market trends, competition, and customer preferences to develop and implement strategic sales plans. Sales Executives also collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, such as marketing and logistics, to ensure seamless product distribution and customer satisfaction. Their goal is to meet and exceed sales targets while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service, thereby contributing to the overall profitability and reputation of Massy Distribution in the marketplace.

 

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Identify and prospect potential clients and leads.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends and customer preferences.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans.
  • Present and demonstrate products or services to potential clients.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales pitches and presentations.
  • Negotiate terms and close sales deals to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and execute promotional campaigns.
  • Keep accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
  • Stay updated on product knowledge and industry developments.
  • Attend sales meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Monitor competitors and market conditions to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Prepare and submit sales reports and forecasts to management.
  • Adhere to company policies, sales guidelines, and ethical standards.

 

Qualification and Job Requirements

  • Minimum of a Diploma in Sales/Marketing
  • At least three (3) years' experience in the sale of FMCG within the Hotels, Restaurants and Cafes Channel.
  • Proficiency in software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent customer service orientation
  • Must own and operate a reliable motor vehicle.
