Are you a driven, results-oriented professional with a passion for sales?

Our client, a leading full services marketing, research, and events execution organisation is seeking to recruit an experienced, dynamic, and results-focused sales & marketing professional to help them expand their client base.

As the successful candidate, you will utilise your understanding of current business trends to create and deliver growth opportunities.  You will attract new clients, and enhance existing customer relationships through upselling to our existing customer base.

Key Tasks

Business Development:

  • Identify potential clients and business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and market research.
  • Develop and implement strategies to approach and secure new clients.
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline and achieve sales targets.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients.
  • Understand client needs and objectives to propose tailored solutions.
  • Address client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.

Sales Strategy and Execution:

  • Develop sales strategies and plans to expand the company's customer base.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to close sales.

Collaboration and Coordination:

  • Work closely with the marketing and event management teams to align sales efforts with overall company objectives.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients.
  • Participate in promotional events, trade shows, and industry conferences to generate leads and promote the company.

Skills required:

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop good relationships with current and potential clients
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently, and also to work well within a diverse team
  • Proven ability to nurture and close sales deals
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Reliable and flexible

Education and experience required:

  • A degree or diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business, or other relevant field
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Knowledge of Quickbooks software and Microsoft suite would be advantageous

  • Reliable motor car and willing to travel out of town as required
