Job Description – Sales Representative Industrial Raw Materials

Position Overview:
As a Sales Representative, you are responsible for identifying and pursuing new
business opportunities, as well as nurturing existing customer relationships. Your exceptional
communication skills, technical knowledge, and persuasive abilities will contribute to the growth and
success of our company.

Responsibilities:

Business Development:
Identify potential customers and market segments for our industrial raw material solutions, utilizing
market research, networking, and lead generation techniques.
Proactively pursue new business opportunities, including cold calling, prospecting, and attending
industry events.
Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the benefits and features of our
solutions.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities.

Customer Relationship Management:

Develop and maintain positive relationships with existing customers, understanding their needs and
providing appropriate solutions.
Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring customer
satisfaction.
Regularly follow up with customers to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
Stay updated on customer accounts, maintaining accurate and updated customer records in the CRM
system.

Sales and Revenue Generation:

Achieve sales targets and objectives set by the company, consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotes, and contracts to prospective customers.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions in line with company guidelines and policies.
Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics.

Market and Competitive Analysis:

Stay informed about market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities in the industrial raw
material solutions industry.
Analyze market data and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product enhancements or new
product development.
Provide feedback to the management team on market trends, customer preferences, and competitive
landscape.

Sales Reporting and Analysis:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales reports, activity logs, and other sales-related documentation.
Analyze sales data, trends, and performance metrics to assess individual and team performance.
Provide regular reports and insights to the sales manager, contributing to sales forecasting and planning.

Collaboration and Teamwork:

Collaborate effectively with the internal teams, including marketing, customer service, and technical
support, to ensure seamless customer experiences.
Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and workshops to enhance product knowledge and sales
skills.
Share best practices and contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.

Qualifications:

Formal training and qualifications in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Technical
background or industry experience is preferred.
Proven experience as a Sales Representative or in a similar sales role, preferably within the industrial raw
material or sanitizing chemical solutions industry.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with
customers.
Persuasive and negotiation abilities, with a track record of achieving sales targets.
Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to deliver engaging and impactful product demonstrations.
Self-motivated and target-driven, with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
Proficiency in using CRM software, sales management tools, and MS Office suite.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and make informed
decisions.
Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new products, technologies, and market trends.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required. Own and operate a reliable motor vehicle.

Daily operational Tasks

• Schedule meetings with customers and potential customers.
• Follow-up with customers about outstanding requests and payments.
• Follo-up with admin staff regarding outstanding quotes.
• Ensure customer orders are delivered or collected.
• Carry out site visits to provide solutions.
• Carry out online research of competitive products and new developments in the industry.
• Provide technical support to clients in making decisions for product purchase.
• Prospect new business opportunities.
• Forecast current and new opportunities for stock ordering.
• Any other duty considered relevant by the supervisor.
