To provide secretarial support.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Preparing accurately typed reports, letters and other correspondence from manuscript;
- Assisting the department with office management practices;
- Maintaining an efficient filing system for correspondence and files;
- Providing general information to internal and external customers/clients;
- Dealing promptly with routine correspondence;
- Screening telephone calls and visitors;
- Dispatching mail, sending fax and emails, scanning, and photocopying documents;
- Maintaining Case Management Log and Database;
- Taking minutes, dictation and scheduling appointments for meetings;
- Assisting in monitoring supplies inventory.
Minimum Required Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma in Secretarial Studies; and
- Certificate in Administrative Management Level 2 (MIND); and
- Four (4) CXC/GCE including English Language.
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Excellent communication skills (both written and oral);
- Good customer service and interpersonal skills;
- Good time management skills;
- Proficiency in relevant computer applications;
- Ability to work in teams.
