Senior Manager - Community Development & Corporate Communications

Education/Experience/Specialized Techniques:

• Postgraduate Degree in Marketing and Public Relations, Media and Communications, Mass Communication, Journalism from a recognized institution.
• Undergraduate in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Public Policy etc.
• Five (5) years or more experience in a similar position, preferably in the Housing Sector.
• Knowledge of Community Development, Community Relations, Business Development etc.
• Knowledge of Marketing, Media Relations, Brand Management, CRM, Communications etc.
• Competency in the use of computer applications, including scheduling software such as Microsoft Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint, Outlook, Understanding of the regulatory requirements for housing and related development.
• Community Development: The role will include proactive and reactive work, utilizing key skills in partnership working, consultation and engagement, networking, project management and capacity building supporting the Agency and its customers to identify issues, needs and solutions to improve their communities. The incumbent will be responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating integration strategies in targeted communities as part of the Agency's mandates.
• Corporate Communications: The role of Corporate Communications will lead the Agency's communications team (public relations, marketing, and social media) and will develop and implement internal and external communication strategies for the Agency to ensure that unified, consistent, and positive messages define and promote the Agency's corporate identity and mission.
