As a Storeroom Clerk at Chappa Auto, you will play a critical role in maintaining the inventory and organization of our storeroom. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, and issuing parts and supplies, as well as keeping accurate records of inventory levels. Your attention to detail and efficiency will ensure that our operations run smoothly and efficiently.
**Responsibilities:**
- Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders
- Unpack and label parts and supplies for storage
- Organize and maintain inventory records using computerized systems
- Issue parts and supplies to technicians and other staff as needed
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
- Keep the storeroom clean, organized, and free of safety hazards
**Qualifications:**
- Previous experience in inventory management or storeroom operations preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with computerized inventory management systems
- Ability to lift and move heavy items
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of automotive parts and supplies is a plus
