Today, this company is headquartered in Texas, USA and is looking for staff for the new Jamaica office – launching in September 2023!

This new role will be based in Montego Bay, Jamaica at a private office within the Blue Diamond Mall.
For this to be a successful engagement, the ideal candidate will be someone with a warm and friendly personality, a sense of self-driven responsibility, the ability to work under pressure, an optimistic demeanor, thrives with innovation, and understands the necessities of professionalism and discretion.
This position will be the first position for Reliant Destinations in Jamaica and will be involved in helping to recruit a small team of initially 5-7 individuals who will work together in the Montego Bay office.
Professional Requirements
- Impeccable command of written American English
- Previous supervision or managerial duties
- Capable of overseeing small teams of diversified responsibilities
- Proficient, fast typing skills
- Competent at multitasking
- (Preferred) Hospitality, Tourism, or Corporate experience
- (Ideal) Knowledge or previous experience with Sandals Resorts
- (Ideal) Experience with Americans and/or visitor/business USA visa
Sample Job Duties
- Establishing and managing tasks for team members
- Daily monitoring of communications software, to include Facebook, Email, Text Line, and others
- Responding to client enquiries
- Servicing existing clients
- Escalating client concerns
- Providing trip planning assistance
- Assisting with destination weddings & group events
- Sending out reminder emails
- Completing executive-assigned tasks
- Strategy planning & business expansion assistance
- Note-taking
- Taking appointments & scheduling
- Content studio & resort projects
- Other duties as requested
