The Role

The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for driving revenue growth, managing the SDR team's performance, and strategically expanding Adlinc's market presence. This role requires a hands-on leader capable of blending strategic oversight, lead generation, people management, direct high-level sales execution, and analytical reporting. The BDM will be key to leveraging our specialized logistics BPO services to grow the existing client base and penetrate new, highly regulated verticals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Development Team Leadership & Coaching (SDR Oversight)

  • Oversee and manage a team of high-performing SDRs across multiple locations, fostering a positive, results-driven team environment.
  • Monitor and analyze SDR daily and weekly to ensure consistent achievement of targets.
  • Conduct regular 1:1 coaching sessions, call reviews, and training on sales processes, objection handling, messaging, and industry knowledge.
  • Collaborate with SDRs to review and improve scripts, outreach sequences, and lead qualification criteria based on performance data.

2. Strategic Business Development & Market Expansion

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to identify, target, and penetrate new, high-potential verticals.
  • Personally engage in strategic, executive-level outreach to generate and qualify high-potential leads for the company’s core services.
  • Lead prospective client meetings, presenting the company's value proposition and capabilities to decision-makers.
  • Manage a pipeline of advanced opportunities, ensuring timely follow-up and movement through the sales cycle until handover or close.

3. Reporting, Analysis, and Systems

  • Generate comprehensive weekly and monthly reports analyzing key business development and KPIs.
  • Ensure 100% data integrity within HubSpot CRM, guaranteeing accurate logging of all activities, pipeline status, and reporting metrics.
  • Oversee and optimize the effective use of prospecting tools to maintain up-to-date and targeted lead lists.

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills

Required

  • 3-5 years of progressive experience in Business Development, Sales Management, or a similar revenue-generating role, preferably within the B2B professional services sector.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience directly managing, coaching, and mentoring a team of sales or business development representatives (SDRs/BDRs).
  • Proven track record of initiating and closing B2B deals or securing high-level appointments.
  • Strong working knowledge of CRM systems (HubSpot preferred) and sales engagement tools.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to confidently engage and negotiate with decision-makers.

Preferred

  • Highly skilled in reviewing performance data, identifying trends, and translating insights into actionable sales strategies.
  • A leader who is not afraid to jump into the execution trenches, make calls, and model high-activity standards for the team.
  • Comfortable working in a small company environment where roles can be dynamic and cross-functional.
  • Highly motivated by meeting and exceeding revenue and activity targets.
