Objectives and Purpose of the Job:
The Creative & Communications Intern will assist the Creative & Communications Manager in the day-to-day operations of the department. This position offers hands-on experience across creative content production, social media management, event coordination, and brand communications. The intern will support the manager with various tasks, ensuring efficient workflow while contributing to high-impact projects for Seprod Group’s brands.
Key Results Areas
- Creative Support:
- Assist in brainstorming and executing creative ideas for campaigns, including copywriting, design, and content creation.
- Work with the Creative & Communications Team to ensure project deadlines are met.
1. Social Media & Communications:
- Help manage and monitor social media channels for brand engagement and content distribution.
- Track social media trends and provide input to optimize communications strategies.
2. Administrative & Planning Assistance:
- Provide administrative support to the Creative & Communications Manager, including calendar management, scheduling meetings, and preparing reports.
- Provide support to Production Coordinator with the planning and execution of commercial productions, internal videos or any related Seprod production.
- Help coordinate communication across internal teams and external vendors/agencies.
3. Brand & Marketing Support:
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns, providing hands-on support for both digital and traditional media.
- Help in creating content for presentations, reports, and marketing collateral.
4. Research & Reporting:
- Conduct research for marketing strategies, industry trends, and competitor analysis.
- Assist the Creative & Communications Manager in tracking campaign performance and preparing progress reports.
5. Learning & Development:
- Participate in training and development sessions to build skills in branding, marketing, and communications.
- Stay up to date with creative industry trends and best practices.
6. Observe and adhere to the Company’s established safety standards .
7. Perform any other related function as assigned by the Creative & Communications Manager.
Requirements
Academic/Technical/Management: Experience and Qualifications:
- Proficient command of the English language.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Technical knowledge and understanding of social media platforms.
- Project management and organisation skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
