JN Bank is seeking a highly experienced and strategic
professional to lead its Credit Adjudication function. This is a senior
leadership role responsible for overseeing loan decision-making across retail,
commercial, development financing, and digital lending portfolios, ensuring
strong risk management, operational efficiency, and exceptional service
delivery.
The Head – Adjudication will lead a team of adjudicators and
assume overall accountability for credit adjudication within the Bank’s lending
authority. The role requires a balance of strategic oversight and hands-on
decision-making to support business growth while safeguarding the Bank’s risk
position.

Key Responsibilities
Credit Adjudication & Risk Oversight

Lead
and manage the adjudication of retail, commercial, and digital loan
applications

Ensure
all credit decisions align with internal policies, regulatory standards,
and risk frameworks

Review
and approve loan applications within assigned authority and escalate where
required

Monitor
adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and ensure timely, accurate
decisions

Identify
and mitigate credit, fraud, and compliance risks
Leadership & People Management

Lead,
coach, and develop a high-performing adjudication team

Establish
performance targets and monitor outcomes against strategic objectives

Build
succession plans and strengthen team capability

Promote
a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement
Strategy &
Operational Excellence

Drive
execution of the Bank’s credit strategy and operational plans

Develop
and monitor performance metrics aligned to business goals

Identify
process improvements and implement efficiencies across adjudication
workflows

Collaborate
with internal stakeholders (Risk, Compliance, Sales, IT, Audit) to enhance
decision-making and service delivery
Governance & Stakeholder Engagement

Ensure
compliance with regulatory requirements and internal governance frameworks

Prepare
and present submissions to Credit Committee and Board

Partner
with key stakeholders to manage risk events, audit findings, and product
development initiatives
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s
degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field
(Master’s or professional certification preferred)

7–10
years’ experience in credit adjudication, underwriting, or credit risk
management

Minimum
5 years in a leadership role within financial services

Strong
knowledge of retail, commercial, and digital lending products

Proven
experience in risk assessment, credit analysis, and decision-making

Experience
with digital lending platforms and data analytics tools is an asset
