About the
Role
We’re looking for an Operations Support Officer to join our
Kingston-based team and support the JNMS distribution network in delivering
money transfer and bill payment services. This is a shift-based role
(Mondays–Saturdays and public holidays, between 3:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.).
Key
Responsibilities
- Reinstate, reprocess, and release transactions:
Provide daily support to JNMS locations by reinstating suspended money
transfer transactions, processing amendments, and completing reissues or
refunds—all within defined service timelines.
- Investigate and resolve transaction issues:
Troubleshoot and resolve transaction-related problems raised by branches
or customers. Ensure timely follow-up and resolution.
- Manage general and customer queries across the
distribution network:
Act as a support hub for JNMS branches and agents, responding to
operational and customer service queries with clarity and professionalism.
- Prepare reports, process corporate payments, and
maintain document compliance:
Generate transaction reports for internal and external use, process
corporate bulk payments and bank transfers, and ensure proper handling and
filing of transaction documents in line with JNMS policies.
- Support reconciliation and audit readiness:
Perform regular transaction reconciliations to maintain data integrity.
Help ensure the department is always prepared for internal audits or
compliance reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or
related field
- Strong analytical thinking, customer orientation, and
teamwork
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, and database
systems
- Knowledge of the JNMS branch network is an advantage
