Job Description & Summary

At PwC, our people in sustainability focus on integrating environmental, social, economic, and governance considerations into business strategies and operations. They provide guidance and support to organisations by managing sustainability risks, identifying opportunities, and driving positive social and environmental impact.

In sustainability strategy at PwC, you will analyse client needs, provide consulting services across different strategic areas, and offer guidance and support to help clients develop and implement effective strategies that align with their sustainability objectives.

PwC Jamaica is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual for our Sustainability practice. This individual will play a crucial role in driving business development for the practice, enhancing brand awareness (with the support of our marketing team), promoting awareness in the market, building capacity internally and externally and executing projects with the support of our larger sustainability team.

• Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within Sustainability. Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders to drive revenue growth.
• Brand Awareness: Work closely with the marketing team to enhance the visibility and reputation of PwC Jamaica's Sustainability practice. Participate in industry events, conferences, and webinars to promote the firm's expertise and create thought leadership publications for dissemination in the market.
• Sustainability Awareness: Advocate for the importance of Sustainability practices within the market. Conduct workshops, seminars, and training sessions to educate clients and the public on the benefits of sustainability initiatives.
• Project Execution: Lead and manage Sustainability projects from inception to completion. Ensure the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction. Collaborate with the larger team to deliver comprehensive and impactful solutions.
• Strategy Development: Maintain and implement strategic plan for the Sustainability practice, aligning with the overall goals and objectives of PwC Jamaica.

Minimum years experience required

• At least 5-8 years of experience in related fields such as environmental management, sustainability consulting/ risk management, with a proven track record of business development and project management.
• An understanding of sustainability frameworks, standards, and regulations would be an asset

• A Master's degree in environmental science, Sustainability, or a related field.
• Professional certifications (e.g. GRI, SASB, ACCA- Professional Diploma in Sustainability) with a non-related Masters will also be considered
