About the Role
WehFiGo is looking for a creative, organized and energetic Social Media & Content Coordinator to manage and grow our presence across TikTok, Instagram and YouTube.
The ideal candidate should understand social media trends, create engaging content and be comfortable capturing content at events, businesses and experiences across Jamaica.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage WehFiGo’s TikTok, Instagram and YouTube accounts.
- Create and publish engaging Reels, TikToks, Stories, posts and YouTube content.
- Attend events and business locations to capture photos and videos.
- Edit short-form and long-form video content.
- Develop creative content ideas that increase views, engagement and followers.
- Write captions, select hashtags and ensure content aligns with the WehFiGo brand.
- Stay up to date with trending sounds, challenges, formats and social media trends.
- Respond to comments, DMs and audience interactions.
- Promote events, businesses and experiences featured on WehFiGo.
- Maintain a consistent content calendar and posting schedule.
- Monitor analytics and track follower growth, reach, views and engagement.
- Prepare weekly and monthly social media reports with recommendations for improvement.
- Work with the sales and event teams to ensure promotional commitments are fulfilled.
- Identify new opportunities for content and audience growth.
Requirements
- Previous experience managing social media accounts or creating content.
- Strong knowledge of TikTok, Instagram and YouTube.
- Strong video editing and content creation skills.
- Good photography and videography skills.
- Creative eye and strong understanding of what makes content engaging.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Comfortable attending events and working occasional evenings and weekends.
- Reliable, organized and able to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Access to a smartphone capable of capturing high-quality content.
Preferred
Experience with CapCut, Canva, YouTube Studio, Instagram Insights and TikTok Analytics.
