Job Description: Benefits Call Center Representative

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Benefits Call Center Representative with a minimum of 3 years of call center experience and at least 1 year of experience in benefits or medical-related support. This role involves providing exceptional phone support to employees, addressing inquiries related to benefits, assisting with enrollments, and offering technical assistance for online benefits platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Phone Support:

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls exclusively from employees.
  • Provide timely and accurate responses to inquiries regarding benefits, plan options, and eligibility.
  • Resolve issues or escalate cases requiring higher-level support to Tier 3.

Benefit Questions:

  • Answer inquiries about health, dental, vision, and other benefits offered.
  • Explain benefit coverage details, including eligibility, costs, and plan options.
  • Clarify procedures and timelines for utilizing benefits.

Assisted Enrollments:

  • Assist employees with the enrollment process, ensuring they understand their options and choices (e.g., New Hire, Open Enrollment, and Qualifying Life Events).
  • Provide information about wellness programs, preventive care, and other employer-provided offerings.

Technical Support:

  • Offer technical assistance to employees navigating the benefits website or online portal.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to account access, password resets, and other technical challenges.
  • Help employees complete tasks such as viewing benefits, making changes, or submitting claims online.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of call center experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience in benefits or medical-related support.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in navigating online portals and providing technical troubleshooting.
