Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant work experience, Degree in Business or HR strongly desired
Experience:
2+ years’ experience in HR at a senior level

Roles & Responsibilities:
Partners with the HRD Head and departmental managers to monitor staff morale by providing counseling, and staff relations services in an effort to foster and maintain a harmonious working relationship
Ensures timely processing of termination notices and follow-up to ensure all final payments are made for employees within the portfolio managed
Conducts exit interviews to be compiled into a monthly report that can be utilized for future improvement
Process employee separation
a)Prepare an employee separation letter based on the approved process
b)Advise stakeholders of separation within 24 hours to facilitate the final payment
Monitors and approve leaves (unpaid sick, leave of absence, maternity, bereavement, and jury duty) for eligible employees
Provides leadership, coaching, and guidance to supervisors, and employees regarding laws, regulations policies and procedures, and practices related to employee relations matters to ensure compliance and company-wide consistency
Conducts investigations (both formal and informal) and inquiries, provides consultations and guidance, and recommends outcomes to resolve employee relations issues, with a key focus on maintaining a positive employee experience
Schedule disciplinary hearings and ensure that invitation and outcome letters are sent out in a timely manner
Provides recommendations and input for policy changes and responsibility to monitor and enforce the consistent application of policy
Partners with Operations, Recruiting, Business Learning and Organization Development to ensure the effective delivery of services
Employee counseling referrals should be acknowledged and scheduled within 24 hours, and the tracker updated
Executing staff onboarding activities including, but not limited to:
a)Introduction to staff
b)Conducting orientations sessions
c)Completing orientations tracker
Complete trackers for weekly submission
a)Grievance tracker
b)Disciplinary tracker
c)Issues-Resolutions tracker
d)Job abandonment tracker
e)Attrition tracker
f)Counselling refferals
Establish ways to Increase employee engagement, such as:
a)Conducting weekly Town Halls with at least three (3) LOBs (to include TL and BA per month)
b)Conduct five (5) or more focus groups per month
c)Conduct ten (10) one on one sessions per month
d)At least two LOBs should be visited and walkthroughs are done weekly
e)All information on interactions should be tracked in the Touch Base and Town Halls tracker
f)Emailed invites should be compiled on a weekly basis
Collaborating with the business to identify and solve workforce challenges
Sharing information, knowledge, and best practices with the business
Perform any other duties which may be assigned from time to time
