The Role:

Are you an experienced accounting professional with a keen eye for detail and a passion for accurate financial reporting? We are looking for an Accountant to help maintain the integrity of our financial records while supporting efficient and timely accounting operations.

What You'll Do

• Review and release general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash and other accounting entries.
• Prepare and review reconciliations for bank, intercompany and balance sheet accounts, ensuring outstanding items are cleared within 30 days.
• Maintain the fixed asset register and investment schedules, and prepare related journal entries.
• Review prepayments, accruals and monthly audit schedules.
• Ensure credit card and petty cash transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.
• Support internal and external audit activities and contribute to the effective administration of the accounting function.

What Success Looks Like

• Month-end accounting entries completed accurately and on time.
• Bank, intercompany and balance sheet reconciliations completed within required deadlines.
• Reconciling items cleared within 30 days.
• Accurate financial records that support smooth audit and reporting processes.

What You'll Bring

• First Degree in Accounting, Banking & Finance or a related discipline.
• 4–5 years' relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger, reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
• Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills with a high level of accuracy.
