We are seeking to recruit suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the position of Accounting Clerk with our member company – JN Money Services Limited. Job Category: Clerical  Contract: Permanent 
  • Maintain cash float accounts twice weekly.
  • Preparation of operation transactions weekly.
  • Preparation of the Agent receivables and schedule for the 25 of each month and ensure that all reconciling items are cleared within thirty (30) days of the first occurrence.
  • Preparing assigned profit and loss general ledger accounts monthly and ensure that all reconciling items are cleared within thirty (30) days of the first occurrence.
  • Undertaking filing of documents for the assigned company.
  • Assist with agent payments and queries as the need arises.
  • Assist in the preparation of the FX Trading report daily.
  • Prepare branch lodgments for five locations.      
  • Prepare manual cheques weekly and upload ACH payments.
  • Prepare monthly agent commission.
  • Prepare bank reconciliations.
  • Assist with both internal and external audit preparation.
  • Perform other duties assigned to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in the administration of the company’s accounting affairs.

Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • At least two (2) years’ experience in a related field within a financial institution
