Banker
to manage and grow its portfolio of business clients. This role is
ideal for a high-performing professional with strong sales acumen, credit
expertise, and a passion for delivering tailored financial solutions to
businesses.
The Business Banker is responsible for developing and
expanding a portfolio of business clients by identifying new opportunities,
building strong relationships, and delivering customized banking solutions. The
role involves sales execution, credit analysis, loan structuring, and portfolio
management, with a focus on achieving growth targets while maintaining sound
risk practices.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Relationship Management

Identify,
pursue, and convert new business opportunities to expand the client base

Achieve
and exceed sales targets for loans, deposits, and credit card products
-
Build
and maintain strong, long-term relationships with business clients
-
Cross-sell
and upsell products across JN Bank and the wider JN Group
-
Represent
the Bank at industry events, associations, and networking opportunities
-
Provide
ongoing after-sales support to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty
Credit Analysis & Portfolio Management
-
Assess
loan applications and prepare credit submissions in line with Bank
policies
-
Conduct
site visits and evaluate client operations to support lending decisions
-
Ensure
all documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant

Monitor
and manage assigned loan, deposit, and credit card portfolios
-
Support
annual loan reviews and ensure adherence to approved terms
Business Development & Market Intelligence

Analyse
market trends and identify new growth opportunities
-
Develop
and manage a strong sales pipeline using CRM tools
-
Conduct
research to recommend improvements to the Bank’s loan portfolio mix
-
Support
the implementation of sales strategies and business initiatives
Reporting & Operational Support

Prepare
and submit weekly and monthly sales and pipeline reports
-
Maintain
accurate records of client interactions and transactions in CRM systems
-
Support
sales planning, budgeting, and performance tracking activities
-
Collaborate
with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery
Risk & Compliance

Ensure
adherence to KYC requirements, credit policies, and regulatory standards
-
Monitor
portfolio performance, including delinquency management
-
Implement
risk mitigation strategies and escalate issues where necessary
Qualifications & Experience
-
Bachelor’s
degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field
(MBA is an asset)

Minimum
of 3 years’ experience in banking, treasury, trading, or related field at
Assistant Manager level

Strong
knowledge of commercial banking products and financial markets

Proven
experience in sales, credit analysis, and portfolio management
