ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

JN Bank Limited is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Mortgage Liaison Officer to join our Securities Unit.

The successful candidate will support the efficient processing of mortgage transactions, ensuring that all documentation is prepared, reviewed, dispatched, and tracked in accordance with established timelines and quality standards. The role requires strong stakeholder engagement with members, attorneys, loan officers, and other financial institutions while upholding the reputation of The JN Group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and dispatch mortgage documentation for execution within established turnaround times.

  • Schedule and coordinate appointments with mortgagors for document execution.

  • Conduct timely follow-ups with attorneys, loan officers, and purchasers to ensure completion of security documentation.

  • Prepare Letters of Undertaking and manage documentation relating to mortgage proceeds and title loans.

  • Respond to stakeholder correspondence within required service standards.

  • Maintain and circulate accurate monthly progress reports on all mortgages being processed.

  • Update relevant systems (including OnBase) with current loan status information.

  • Provide in-person and telephone support to customers.

  • Deliver duplicate certificates and life insurance policies for discharged mortgages.

  • Participate in professional development and mandatory training programmes.

Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • At least 6 months’ relevant experience , preferably with exposure to mortgage processing.
  • Working knowledge of mortgage documentation and banking operations.
  • Strong computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, databases).
